Shame on me.

Peeps, so sorry for the lack of posts, but, life has been a bit crazy 'round these parts.  However, I have SO much to fill you all in on :) Hope everyone is doing well and I will get you up-to-date on my life soon!

Extreme is right....

Wowsers, I watched Extreme Couponing for the 1st time last night and I am HOOKED! Partly because the people are crazy, partly because I am in awe of their stock piles, and mostly because I am j-e-a-l-o-u-s of their savings!!! Have you all watched it??? Oh my, I think I just sat and stared with my mouth open during the two episodes that aired last night.  I mean, these people go to the grocery store and buy hundreds of dollars worth of groceries (I'm talking like 5, 6, 7 hundred dollars worth) and come out spending like $20.00 or less!! If I could do that one time, I would feel like my life is complete - ha! But, these people also devote like 15-20 hours a week couponing and they are one coupon away from a nervous breakdown at the register.  One of the ladies last night divided her groceries into 18 different transactions to take advantage of an in store promotion, it took her like 2 hours to cash out....redic! But, nonetheless, I'm all about some Extreme Couponing and I will be tuning in every week!

I "window" shopped at Express this morning and I am lovin' on these (very SoBe) ... wink, wink! I see a trip to Express in my future...

Phew...what a weekend!

This weekend was all about friends and family and I absolutely.loved.it! Friday night I hung out with my girl Steph...we caught up on each other's lives and had a lil' bit of wine - it was perfect! Lil Miss P was sleeping, so I didn't get to love on her, but I did get a peek of her all cuddled up in her crib...she is beautiful!

Saturday morning, JWP and I got up early and headed up to Tampa to spend the day with Kelly and Hayden.  Kevin and Boone joined too! We had so much fun on our lil' south tampa pub crawl and enjoyed an absolutely beautiful day! Kelly is one of my soul sisters and I love her little boy, Hayden so so much! Before we left Tampa, we headed over to the Nut' house to visit with Mere, Rick, and Miss Brooklyn.  Umm, I wanted to love on Miss B's cheeks all night...The Nutter family will be staying with us in July and I cannot wait to have that sweet baby all to myself!

Sunday JWP and I slept in because we were exhausted from our Saturday shananigans :) Sunday afternoon we went to a birthday party for my cousins Leila and Bianca.  I love my family and there is never a short of laughter when all of the cousins get together.  All in all, I had a wonderful weekend and I am so thankful for all of the people in my life.  Life is good!

So, we're half way through the week - yay! It's date night - yay yay! and, I get to see two of my favs this weekend (Hay Hay and Blyn) - yay yay yay! April is looking like it's going to be a great month! Woo Hoo! I have a firm happy hour tomorrow; Tampa on Saturday; next Friday is my ladies wine party; and, then next Saturday Britt is here for the night and the ladies are heading out on the town :) Just call me the social butterfly! Sorry for the short post...but, gotta head to Bonefish with my handsome date :)

Faux-renting ain't easy.

So, I really wanted to post yesterday about JWP and I's faux-renting experience....but, I was SO TIRED!!! One thing I realized this weekend (ok, ok, over the course of 26 hours) is that watching after kids every second of every day is e-x-h-a-u-s-t-i-n-g! KJ and Lane are great kids, so, it had nothing to do with them, but everything to do with me - I guess you could say I am out of shape when it comes to parenting..ha! Well, naturally, seeing as how I don't have any kids (well, not any human ones, only furry ones).  All in all we had a great, action-packed weekend.  JWP and I both can quote the movie Tangled ("mother knows best...listen to your mother"), I think that baby food is absolutely disgusting, and, I will never look at a blow up bed the same again...more like a wrestling ring for kids, and a great source of stress for me when a less than stable 1 year old is walking on it! Here are some pics from this weekend...and, yes, H and J came back to 2 children who were exactly the way that they left them (well, Lane may have had a tiny bruise at the side of his eye....stupid blow up bed!).  Oops, I said "stupid" - if KJ was around she would tell me I owed her a quarter ;)
